So Thankful!

We at the Original Dickens Carolers wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving! Our season “officially” starts on Friday, but we’ve already had the opportunity to perform at various events in the last few weeks. Something happened this week that reminds us all of why we are so thankful to be able to spread our kind of Christmas spirit throughout the season. Here’s what our fantastic musical director and fellow caroler Dutch Miller shared:

Saturday we sang at Old Navy in Southglenn, we took our break at My Music Skool, where I teach. As we were returning to the gig, we sang for the students at the Music Skool. One of them is a non-verbal autistic 5 year old who was taking a piano lesson. The parents were blown away when she started humming on the way home, and has continued this ever since she heard Kelly Twedt, Susie Brizuela, Randy St. Pierre and I. So proud to be part of this group!!!

Thanks for sharing, Dutch. We are ALL so proud to be a part of the Original Dickens Carolers and so thankful that the season has only just begun. We look forward to sharing more holiday stories.

What are YOU thankful for today? Leave a comment – we’d love to hear from you!
